Summer Orientation Leaders
The Summer Orientation Leader role is a full-time paid position starting May 6, 2024 – September 6, 2024. Summer Orientation Leaders play an integral role in the implementation of the Summer Orientation program designed for new students and their parent(s) to learn more about Carleton University before beginning in September.

The Umoja Team is responsible for planning and executing all student events in association with Umoja Black Engagement Program. Volunteer with Umoja by signing up today.

Career Services – Carleton University’s centralized office supporting all students and alumni across the different disciplines and levels of study on their career paths.
Job Postings Portal – MySuccess is Career Services’ online resource portal that hosts Career Services’ event calendar and online job boards. Browse their online job boards to learn about and apply for on-campus, volunteer, part-time, full-time, summer, and internship opportunities. To access mySuccess, login via Carleton Central.
Work Study Program – A financial aid program funded by Carleton University. Students must apply to participate in the Work Study Program each year and be approved by the Awards Office before they can be hired.
ACT to Employ – Helps students with disabilities find paid experiential learning opportunities that align with their academic and career goals. ACT to Employ also supports students with disabilities in opportunities they have obtained independently (e.g. Co-op, Work Study, SaPP, iCUREUS, on-campus part-time jobs, external jobs, etc.).
Co-operative Education – Combines traditional, in-class education with hands-on experience. Co-op students alternate study terms at Carleton with four, eight, twelve or sixteen month work terms.
