IMS is excited to be working on several innovative projects this year to help enhance the teaching and learning experience. One of our most recent undertakings includes the use of voice to control PowerPoint slides and to utilize technology in the classroom “hands free,” enabling instructors to be more mobile when teaching. Presets can be configured so that users can execute a series of actions with a single voice command and it can be customized to the instructor’s needs.

If you’re interested in using voice activation in your classroom, please contact Corey Mahoney at corey.mahoney@carleton.ca for more information.
