The Forensic Psychology Research Centre (http://carleton.ca/fprc/) at Carleton University is hosting a conference! The main goal of the conference is to bring together faculty and students from Canadian universities as well as people from various agencies (e.g., police, forensic, correctional) to foster enthusiasm, cohesion, and collaboration, and to showcase and celebrate Canadian contributions to forensic psychology in the year of Canada’s 150th and Carleton’s 75th anniversaries. We hope you will join us and submit your work for presentation!

PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP (APRIL 25)
- Dr. Adelle Forth will provide training on the Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R)
PLENARY SPEAKERS (APRIL 26-27)
- Dr. Angela Book from Brock University will speak about psychopaths as social predators
- Dr. Paul Gendreau from the University of New Brunswick will speak about prisons
- Dr. Zoe Hilton from Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care will speak about domestic violence risk assessment
- Dr. Mark Olver from the University of Saskatchewan will speak about issues in risk assessment with indigenous forensic populations
REGISTRATION (online registration will be available by March)
Pre-conference workshop (April 25): $200 ($100 for full-time students)
Plenary, concurrent, and poster sessions (April 26-27): $50 ($25 for full-time students)
