Are you interested in supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ programming at Carleton University? Consider applying for the Pride Festival Advisory Committee.
The Pride Festival Advisory Committee consists of 10-12 volunteer students, staff, faculty and community representatives who are either members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community or allies with expertise in events and educational programming.
The Pride Festival Advisory Committee participates in 3-4 meetings throughout the late summer term and early fall (June – October) to provide support, guidance, and expertise to the Pride Festival Planning Committee.

- The 2022 Pride Festival Planning Committee consists of two (2) part-time student employees in the Student Experience Office and a team of volunteers who are responsible for the planning and delivery of all Pride Festival programming.
The Advisory Committee model was created to help facilitate a diverse, intersectional, and collaborative planning process that includes the perspectives, histories, and lived experiences of as many members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community as possible.

This form was created to capture your motivation for wanting to join/participate in the Pride Festival Advisory Committee. It is not a formal merit-based application, rather it is designed to enable the Student Experience Office to determine the skills, knowledge, and expertise you could bring to the committee and how it compliments or differs from current committee members. Applicants are selected based on the balance of perspectives they can share with the students planning Pride Festival programming and not being selected is not a reflection of the applicant’s merit.
Expression of interest forms are due on June 6th, 2022 at 11:59 PM and selected applicants will be informed by June 10th, 2022.
Privacy Notice: All the information collected in this form is securely stored on Carleton University servers and protected via two factor authentication, only accessible to Student Experience Office staff responsible for Pride programming, confidential and only used for the purposes of selecting committee members. Once the selection process is complete on June 10th, 2022, all data captured on this form will be permanently deleted.
