FASS’ David Wood was one of the recipients named at the Capital Educators’ Award ceremony held on May 21, 2009. Wood, an Assistant Professor in the School of Linguistics and Language Studies, was among 20 other educators who were honoured.

The Capital Educators’ Awards were created in the fall of 2001 by a group of business and education leaders who wanted to raise the profile of public education and recognize and celebrate the dedication and achievements of our local educators.
