SLaLS student, Madalena Santos, M.A. Applied Language Studies, received the Senate Medal for Outstanding Academic Achievement – Graduate for her M.A. Thesis, “Theorizing Racialized Discourse: Perils and Paradoxes in Canadian National Security“, supervised by Lynne Young, Associate Professor in Applied Language Studies.
