Congratulations today to Melissa McLeod, who on the basis of her extraordinary performance while a student at SLaLS, has been awarded the University Medal for Outstanding Graduate Work at the Master’s level by the Carleton University Senate. Melissa’s thesis, directed by Janna Fox, is entitled Looking for an ounce of prevention: The potential for diagnostic assessment in academic acculturation, and was successfully defended in April.
The medal will be presented at the Spring 2012 Convocation ceremony to be held on 8 June at 2:00 p.m.
