Congratulations to Anika Cloutier on winning a University Medal of Arts for her high academic standing in her undergraduate studies, a BA degree with a double major in psychology and applied language discourse studies.

She will receive the awards at the Fall Convocation, Saturday, November 9, 2013.

While Anika is graduating, she has not left the university behind.  She is currently pursuing in a Masters degree in psychology at Carleton with research interests that span both her chosen domains and address questions of genre acquisition, identity formation, and forensic linguistics.

“I am so thankful that the ALDS department at Carleton has granted me such flexibility in exploring topics that I am genuinely interested in, and that the faculty creates such a supportive environment that welcomes innovation and fosters student creativity,” she said.
