The following is a step-by-step guide prepared by Carleton Korean instructor HyounJeong Yoo to help you with your application.

The EPIK program is open to English speakers who satisfy these eligibility criteria, however, if you are a Carleton graduate, you may have an added advantage!  This is because, Carleton has signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) partnership with EPIK.

In order to benefit from this official relationship, applicants will need to take a few additional steps when applying.  Here’s how:

  1. Create an account on the EPIK website.
  2. Once you have done so, you should be able to log into the site and choose the “Apply Now” button.
  3. This will open up a classification section where you can choose between:
  • Direct Application
  • MOU
  • Agency
  • EPIK Plus

If you wish to be considered under our agreement, choose “MOU” from the list of options and then select “Carleton University” from the list of partner universities.

  1. Once you have taken these steps, you can complete your application normally.

IMPORTANT: After you submit your application, please take a moment to email HyounJeong at hyounjeong.yoo@carleton.ca to let her know that you have submitted an application.  She will follow up with EPIK to ensure your application has been submitted under our MOU.

Good luck with your application!
