Professor Natasha Artemeva and her PhD student Jacquie Ballantine have led a study into the distinct social and academic experiences of autistic university students during the pandemic. They have worked together with current and former autistic graduate students to complete this work which will soon be published in Autism in Adulthood. They continue to develop a growing participatory research team of both autistic and nonautistic researchers producing research which is relevant and useful for the autistic community.

Jacquie will be presenting the work on March 13 and 14 at the “It Takes All Kinds of Minds” (ITAKOM) conference in Edinburgh. To learn more about the conference, click here or go to ITAKOM.org.
