Studying abroad undoubtedly broadens students’ life horizons, and contributes to one’s personal, intellectual, and career growth.  The mobility of students has also become one of the most important impetuses for countries’ social and economic growth.

During Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s visit to China earlier this year, the two countries agreed to encourage more students to study in each other’s countries with a total of 100,000 students within the coming five years. Led by Peking University, one of the most prestigious Chinese universities, a group of top 14 universities from China is coming to Ottawa to provide first-hand information on Chinese universities and their programs.  The Study In China Seminar also aims to attract and engage more Canadians to study in China. With the support of DFAIT, the Chinese Embassy, and the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE), the National Capital Confucius Institute at Carleton University is pleased to invite you to the Seminar.

Directions:

The River Building is one of Carleton’s newest buildings located alongside the Rideau River.  For those who choose to drive, we recommend you use lot P2 directly in front of the University Centre.  Otherwise, #4 or #7 buses and the O-Train will drop you a short walk across the parking lot.  A statue of Ghandi clearly marks the building entrance.
