Past Event

ALDS graduate students, attend this speaker series to: get feedback on your work, build your presentation skills, and see what your peers are working on.  Presentations can be on your own work or a chapter/article you’ve read.  Each student presentation is roughly 20 minutes long, with 10 minutes for questions.  Following the “Talk” portion of the event we head on over Mikes Place Pub for the “Tipples”; a drink and snacks!  So far we have one presentation scheduled: Claire Reynolds: Understanding the Lexical Composition of a BC Grade 12 English Provincial Exam.  Two presenter spots are still available.  If you are interested in presenting, please contact Gillian at gillianmmclellan@cmail.carleton.ca
