Ever wanted to check out a colleague’s teaching techniques in a classroom setting? Now you can!
Teaching and Learning Services, in collaboration with four instructors, is organizing a “Welcome to my Classroom” event on October 29 from 1:30-4 p.m. in room 208 Tory.
Adrian Chan, Leighann Neilson, Chris Motz and Susan Birkwood will give you a sneak peak into their classrooms. You will have the chance to observe and discuss teaching methods in a variety of classroom situations – from small and large classes to graduate teaching.
Following the classroom visits, we encourage you to continue the conversations at a reception and a celebration in honour of the participants who recently completed the EDC’s Certificate in University Teaching program.
