Over the last five years, the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario (HEQCO) funded more than 60 research projects related to various aspects of improved teaching and student learning. Now, as the last of these projects comes to a close, they’re ready to share their findings with you.
On Tuesday, Feb. 24, join Richard Wiggers, Executive Director, Research and Programs, for a teaching roundtable as he presents HEQCO’s Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) research. The session will highlight the lessons learned and challenges faced when it comes to successfully evaluating student services and teaching and learning initiatives.
This roundtable will be useful to administrators and instructors interested in getting involved in SoTL, undertaking evaluations, or seeking research funding in the future.
The roundtable will run from 12-1 p.m. in room 422 Dunton Tower. A pizza lunch will be served.
