Among all the other new and exciting things that you’re learning about as you settle into Carleton, one thing the EDC would like to remind you of is that your TAship represents an excellent opportunity to develop your professional and teaching profiles. Carleton offers a wide range of training options that will not only help you to perform your current TA duties but which also allow you to develop skills that you can carry forward with you, even as you earn some extra money and, often, accreditation for the training done.
