Doors Open Ottawa
On June 1, 2019, the Discovery Centre opened its doors to the public during the Doors Open Ottawa weekend. We showcased our innovating learning space and state-of-the-art technology. This dynamic learning environment is outfitted with ergonomic, accessible and stylist furniture, complete with three Library Laboratories (Gaming, Learning, Multi-Media) available for student and faculty use.
Visitors were particularly interested in our 3-D printer and stepping into another reality with our Virtual Reality headset.
