Community Engaged Pedagogy – Community of Practice
Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm
- In-person event
The Community Engaged Pedagogy (CEP) Community of Practice (CoP) is a space where instructors from across campus meet to share ideas, approaches, and experiences related to CEP; discuss ways the university can improve the delivery of community-oriented teaching and learning activities; and mentor other instructors interested in incorporating collaborative community-based projects into their courses.
This CoP meets on an ongoing basis (once per term). All instructors are welcome to join these meetings on a regular or ad hoc basis.
Please come to the meeting prepared to contribute to the discussion with, for example:
- A CEP resource that you have found useful (journal article, blog post, podcast episode, website, webinar, etc.)
- An interesting concept or framework that can inform CEP.
- A recent experience that taught you something about CEP (“lessons learned”).
- A CEP-related question or challenge for the group to discuss.
Note: this is a HyFlex meeting, i.e., you have the option to attend in person or online (via Zoom – the link will be emailed to registrants closer to the day of the event). Be sure to indicate your preference on the form below.
