A routine pre-class coffee run to Tim Hortons in Residence Commons for third-year Global and International Studies student Kirsti Granholm ended up being her lucky day when she rolled up her rim and won a brand new 2018 Honda Civic. It one of 50 cars being given away as part of Tim Hortons’ annual Roll Up the Rim contest. Kirsti said she won with her order of a “Large Double Double”.
On Monday, April 9, Kirsti was presented with a key to her brand new car by Carleton Dining Services and Tim Hortons. Kirsti said she “was thrilled about the car and couldn’t wait to test it out.” This is Kirsti’s second car ever, the first she “built with [her] dad as a summer project.” She said she is excited to be finishing up the school year and spending the summer driving across the province visiting friends and family in her new car.
