Senate Annual Report 24/25
Senate is pleased to provide a report on its work for the 2025/25 academic year.
The 2024–25 academic year marked a period of significant progress and transformation at Carleton University, set against a backdrop of continued change across the post-secondary
education sector.
A major milestone was the appointment of Dr. Wisdom Tettey as Carleton’s new President and Vice-Chancellor, who also assumed the role of Chair of Senate in January 2025. His leadership coincided with several key developments in academic governance and institutional planning.
