Book The Senate Room

Senate Room – Use and Set-Up Guidelines

The Senate Room can be booked through the enterprise portal. It is configured in a standard classroom layout and includes a built-in computer.

Groups booking the room are responsible for bringing any additional technology or equipment they may require (e.g., microphones, clickers, laptops, HDMI cords).

Users may reorganize the room as needed; however, the space must be returned to the standard Senate setup after use. Users are also responsible for turning off the lights, projector, and displays before leaving.

If food is consumed in the room, users are responsible for cleaning the tables and removing all food and packaging (e.g., pizza boxes).

If tables need to be removed from the room, users must coordinate in advance with Nonna Afouxenidou regarding timing and feasibility and with Julie Arial-Lalonde to arrange use of Room 617 (Pigiarvik) for temporary storage of Senate Room tables.

All furniture moving requests must be submitted through Facilities Management and Planning (FMP). Both Nonna Afouxenidou and Julie Arial-Lalonde should be copied on these requests.
