About Arlene Dickinson
Arlene Dickinson is one of Canada’s most renowned business women. She is the CEO of both Venture Communications and YouInc.com. Dickinson is best known for her role as a venture capitalist on the hit CBC television series, Dragons’ Den, The Big Decision and as a marketing expert on Recipe to Riches. She is the author of two best-selling books, Persuasion, and All In, and has received numerous awards recognizing her achievements. Her achievements include: Canada’s Most Powerful Women Top 100, the Pinnacle Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence, as well as PROFIT and Chatelaine’s TOP 100 Women Business Owners. Dickinson is also the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
Dickinson has dedicated her career to motivating other leaders. In 2012, she founded YouInc.com, a company that inspires, promotes, and invests in other entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial lifestyle.
Dickinson is also a generous philanthropist and supports many important causes including being the national spokesperson for the Breakfast Clubs of Canada since 2010.
