Allyson Balaz, an undergraduate student majoring in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Language and Linguistics, presented her senior thesis research project titled Proposition removal from the Common Ground via the surprise/redundancy intonation contour at GLEEFUL 2019 (Great Lakes Expo for Experimental and Formal Undergraduate Linguistics) at Michigan State University on April 13th. She won the Best Presentation award at this conference.
Raj Singh and Ai Taniguchi are co-supervising her senior thesis.
