It is with great pleasure that SLaLS announces the addition of an 8th language, Korean, to our list of available language minors. Changes come into effect in September 2020 with expanded course offerings at the 3rd and 4th year level. The Minor in Korean is an initiative that has been two years in the making and would not have been possible without the funding and support of the government of the Republic of Korea, the Korean Cultural Centre Canada, and FASS, as well as the tireless efforts of Korean Coordinator and Instructor Hyounjeong Yoo. We are pleased to take this opportunity to thank all parties for their hard work and support and look forward to letting our many enthusiastic students of Korean know that a Minor in Korean from Carleton is now an option!
