Current Program: MA in ALDS
Applied Linguistics and Discourse Studies is a program which I was looking for to extend my teaching pedagogy. My interest in admission to the graduate program in is the diversity of the program and the global reputation of Carleton University in the academic community. My educational background and teaching experiences have motivated me to choose this program to facilitate my career. I would like to deepen my theoretical studies with practical understanding and relate it to a more focused concentration in my research and teaching.
I strongly believe that my study at ALDS will definitely help me meet my enthusiasm and make easier to my future PhD journey. This knowledge will surely help to methodize my styles of teaching English and carry my research further. Sometimes, I organize seminars and workshops to exchange knowledge about English language teaching. I believe that my degree from ALDS will play a catalyst role in developing my existing leadership qualities.
Moreover, I have fixed my future dream to achieve PhD in Applied Linguistics. I hope that my graduate degree from Carleton University will help me much to my PhD journey. If I can fulfill my future goals, I will be able to be a competent teacher of having wisdom and skills in teaching pedagogy. Finally, I hope that ALDS will meet my needs and expectation and will open a new era in my professional life and I can serve my students with the knowledge and skills from the degree obtained.
