Minors in American Sign Language, German, Japanese, Russian and Spanish are open to all undergraduate degree students. Students interested in being admitted to the Italian minor must meet with the School Director and receive written permission.  Further information on language minors and language course offerings can be found in the Undergraduate Calendar.

The Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language (CTESL) can be done either concurrently with a BA in Linguistics or in ALDS, or as a postgraduate certificate.

Students of American Sign Language can choose to pursue a Certificate in American Sign Language.
