The Centre for Indigenous Initiatives invites you to participate in two virtual beading sessions – August 24 and September 14 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A beading kit will be mailed upon registration. Register with Vanessa Cyr at vanessacyr3@cunet.carleton.ca.
The goal is to gather 215 single beaded vamps by September 30, 2021, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Vamps will be framed and donated to the School of Social Work, Carleton University, to honour all First Nations, Métis, and Inuit children who did not return home from Residential Schools.
