The Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) and the Office of the Associate Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) are pleased to announce the outstanding educators who have been named 2018 Carleton University Teaching Award winners.

Sarah Todd (School of Social Work) has received the Provost’s Fellowship in Teaching Award for her leadership and commitment to teaching and learning. She has also been designated as a Carleton University teaching fellow.

Kevin Cheung (School of Mathematics and Statistics) was also honoured with the Excellence in Blended and Online Teaching Award for his exceptional impact on student learning in an online environment.

Kenta Asakura (School of Social Work), Renate Ysseldyk (Department of Health Sciences) and Laura Banducci (College of the Humanities) have been awarded this year’s New Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award.

The Excellence in Learning Support Award goes to Susan Tudin (MacOdrum Library – Research Support Services) for her outstanding contribution to the student learning experience.
