Congratulations to Terra Clark from BGInS for being awarded with the Carleton University Research Opportunity (CUROP) grant this year! CUROP is a prestigious undergraduate research internship. Under supervision of a faculty member, each student participant designed their own research project and complete it over the summer. Terra’s work was supervised by Associate Professor Sandra Fahy of the BGInS Program.
Terra Clark is currently pursuing their second year in BGINS with a specialization in Global Genders and Sexualities. As a recipient of the CUROP grant, they’re delving into research on Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy. With prior experience at the national level in gender-based rights and internationally with humanitarian charities, Terra aspires to explore the intersections between these two worlds. They are incredibly excited for this opportunity to learn and examine these connections.
