A Reminder to all Administrators and Managers
Effective October 1, 2022 there will be a minimum wage increase in Ontario.
Minimum wage will be $15.50 per hour for general workers. For students under the age of 18 and working less than 28 hours per week, the minimum wage changes to $14.60 per hour.
For jobs that have already been set up for payment in Banner, that have an hourly rate less than those stated above, the rate will be systematically increased effective October 1, 2022.
No action is required on the part of departments.

New Payroll Profiles
Any new payroll profiles should be submitted to Payroll services at the new minimum rate.
