My status has changed from permanent resident to citizen. Who do I need to notify and what do I need to provide?
If you are a student and employee, you need to notify the Registrar’s Office and Human Resources of the change. Please provide both offices a copy of your citizenship document.
If you are a Carleton employee, you only need to notify Human Resources. Please provide a copy of your citizenship document by email in the form of a secure PDF.

If you are a Carleton University student and employee, you need to notify the Registrar’s Office and Human Resources. Contact the Registrar’s Office and provide them proof of your Permanent Residency. You must also submit your new Social Insurance Number document to Human Resources by email in the form of a secure PDF.
If you are a Carleton University employee, you will only need to notify Human Resources. Please submit proof of your PR status and new Social Insurance Number document to Human Resources by email in the form of a secure PDF.

We will only accept banking information that has your name on it. If you have a joint account, please make sure your name appears on the document you provide.
