Call for Faculty
Nominations are currently being accepted for faculty members to serve on the Senate for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2022. Faculty Senator positions are open to full-time faculty members at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor level.
Vacancies are outlined below:
- Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences – 2 vacancies
- Faculty of Science – 1 vacancy

Application
Candidates may put their own name forward or they can be nominated by another faculty member. All nominations must include the support of three other faculty members. Supporting faculty members must send an email confirming their support of the candidate to the Assistant University Secretary (kathy.mckinley@carleton.ca) in order to complete the nomination.
Elections
Since nominations closed on March 4, 2022, all remaining vacancies will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, provided that the applicant is eligible to serve and the nomination package is complete.
