Nominations are currently being accepted for faculty members to serve on a variety of Senate Standing Committees for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2027. Any vacancies that remain after the deadline of March 31, 2024 will be filled on a first-come first-served basis, provided the nominee meets eligibility requirements.
Eligibility
Faculty committee positions are open to full-time faculty members at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor level.
Committee Vacancies
- Senate Executive Committee
- 2 vacancies – nominees must be serving on Senate
- Senate Academic Governance Committee
- 2 vacancies – preferably from FPA and Sprott
- Senate Quality Assurance and Planning Committee
- 2 vacancies, at least one preferably from Science
- Senate Committee on Undergraduate Student Awards
- 1 vacancy
- Senate Academic Integrity Appeals Committee
- 2 vacancies, at least one preferably from Science
- Senate Graduate Student Appeals Committee
- 3 vacancies
