Are you interested in pursuing a Carleton Teaching Award? Or do you know an outstanding educator who deserves recognition? Get your nomination or application in before the deadline on April 4 at 4 p.m.

There are three awards currently open for nominations.

Provost’s Fellowship in Teaching Award
This award recognizes faculty and contract instructors dedicated to sustained excellence in teaching, scholarship of teaching and the continual development of teaching. Three awards of $2,500 are given out each year. Recipients are also designated as Carleton University Teaching Fellows.

New Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award
This award was established to recognize new faculty members who underscore Carleton’s commitment to teaching excellence and innovation. Three awards of $500 are given out each year.

Excellence in Teaching with Technology Award
This award recognizes faculty and contract instructors who truly excel in integrating educational technology in their teaching practice. Two awards of $750 are presented annually.

Nomination and application packages for any of these awards must be submitted in physical form to the Office of the Associate Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) (410 Dunton Tower) or in electronic form to oavptl@carleton.ca.
