As part of Carleton’s ongoing commitment to providing awareness about preventing harassment and violence in the workplace, members of the campus community are invited to this panel discussion which will focus on three fictional scenarios which could be encountered in the workplace. The program includes insight from the panelists, as well as a question and answer period.

Panelists
Joy Noonan
(APTUS Conflict Solutions Inc.) is a labour mediator and arbitrator who has, since leaving private practice in 2007, conducted over 150 workplace investigations, many of which have involved allegations of bullying and/or workplace harassment. Essentially, Joy is the person who comes in, gets all the evidence and writes the report that answers the question: “Is it or isn’t it – and why.”

Kae Roberts
Kae Roberts is a 20-year police veteran, Founder of Awakening Wave, Organizational Evolution, a Certified Catalyst CODE Model™ Coach, and NLP Master Practitioner. Kae works in the capacity of a Workplace Wellness Specialist. She has developed the bold and required Human Behavior Education Program™ enhancing legislative driven respectful workplace initiatives and programs. Kae has presented her program concepts in Canada and in the United States in both conference and corporate training settings.

Kate Dupre
Kate Dupre is an associate professor at Carleton University. Her research focuses on occupational health, safety and well-being. More specifically, she conducts research on the personal and familial experience of workplace safety and injuries, how the work-life interface affects personal and organizational outcomes, leadership and well-being, and workplace aggression and mistreatment.
