Curious about cuPortfolio? Thinking about using the tool but not sure how to integrate it into your course to deepen student learning? Looking for some new ideas to refresh your already existing cuPortfolio assignments? Join the EDC and two Carleton instructors on Jan. 15 to learn how they successfully used cuPortfolio in their courses in the fall term.

Lois Frankel, from the School of Industrial Design, will discuss how her students used different media forms on cuPortfolio, including images, audio and video, to showcase the sensory properties of products for a course assignment.

Deanna Whelan, from the Department of Psychology, will share how she used cuPortfolio to allow students to creatively integrate and reflect on well-being exercises that were a component of a course on positive psychology.

Both instructors will discuss how they structured and integrated cuPortfolio throughout their courses, share their insights on the advantages and challenges of using the tool, and describe how they assessed student ePortfolios.

The session runs from 12-1 p.m. in room 422 Dunton Tower.

Space is limited, so register here today.
