Join the Carleton Climate Commons Working Group for a Climate Change and Curriculum Roundtable on Friday, Dec. 4 from 3-5 p.m. in Loeb A410.

The roundtable will explore a variety of questions, including: How does your research resonate with your teaching in relation to climate change? What difficulties does teaching climate change pose? How do we engage pedagogically with issues like climate change that resist representation (that are ongoing, slow, and lack spectacle)? How do we make climate change relevant in the classroom? Is there even a place for climate change in the humanities and social sciences classroom?

Bring your ideas, sample syllabi or simply an interest in hearing more.

Participants include Chris Russill (Journalism), Emilie Cameron (DGES), Peter Thompson (Canadian Studies), and Noel Salmond (Religion). The roundtable will be moderated by Franny Nudelman (English).
