The dawn of the Active Learning Classroom (ALC) is upon us, and IMS is working diligently with Facilities Management and Planning, Scheduling and Examination Services, and additional stakeholders to select the ideal classroom to upgrade.
Once selected, the ALC could boast features such as mobile furniture, mobile teaching consoles, multiple white boards, projectors and flat panel televisions.
Depending on the classroom selected, the ALC could accommodate up to 40 students and allow increased accessibility.
While the project is still in the works, Carleton is anticipating that the ALC will make its debut within the next year.
