On Thursday, Sept. 1, don’t miss your chance to catch up on all the latest in online learning at Carleton and find out what’s in store for the future of blended and online learning at the university.

Brought to you by Carleton University OnLine, in partnership with the rest of Teaching and Learning Services, Online Education: Assessment Strategies, Exam Delivery and Invigilation will highlight Carleton’s priorities and commitments for supporting online learning. We’ll explore strategies for developing effective online assignments, including demonstrating some asynchronous online activities. You’ll also hear from three faculty members on topics such as lessons learned from offering web courses, challenges and successes in an online course, and more.

With CUOL transitioning to online exams as the primary means of assessment for distance students, we will also discuss the tools and information needed to prepare for and deliver online exams effectively.

Whether you are currently teaching or planning to teach an online, blended or face-to-face course, this event is for you!

The event runs from 9 a.m. – noon in room 3228 River Building. Space is limited, so register today.
