To see or not to see – The instructor’s face in online lecture videos

Published on October 18, 2016

As we include more technology in creating different multimedia learning options, the questions always remain about the effectiveness of each on promoting learning: Does it improve the learning outcomes and student satisfaction? Does it impact motivation and perseverance of learners?

On Nov. 7, join us for a session that will recall the basic principles of multimedia instruction based on cognitive theory of multimedia learning, summarize the latest research on the topic, and caution against one-size-fits-all approaches to instructional design.

The session runs from 12-1 p.m. in room 422 Dunton Tower. Space is limited, so please register here in advance.
