This fall, there are a host of options for TA training, including live workshops and teaching talks, online and blended workshops, and more. Don’t forget about TA Training Day on Saturday, Sept. 17, where they can participate in workshops and hear keynote addresses from award-winning instructors Claudia Buttera and Rodney Nelson.
There are two certificate programs to take advantage of. The popular Preparing to Teach certificate is targeted at PhD candidates looking to pursue a career in teaching, while our Certificate in Teaching Assistant Skills program is a flexible, self-directed way for TAs to build their CV and show future employers their commitment to teaching excellence.
