Join us at the EDC on Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. – noon for a hands-on workshop that will lead you through the process of planning to use Open Educational Resources (OERs) and eTexts in your classes and research.
You’ll discover what types of OERs and eTexts exist, how to search and find OERs, how to produce and remix them, and how to publish and reuse.
By the end of this session, you’ll be able to distinguish among different Creative Commons licenses with discussion about various strategies and methods for creating OERs and eTexts.
