Join us at the Educational Development Centre on Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. – noon for a workshop that will explore both the “why” and “how” of formative assessment, a strategy that requires you to break down assignments into smaller chunks and provide feedback to your students earlier in the term. You’ll also have a chance to reflect on ways you might be able to modify or enhance your own current assessment practices in light of our discussions.
