Launched by the Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) in October 2018, the $50,000 Carleton University Experiential Learning Fund provides faculty, instructors and learning support staff with financial support to integrate experiential learning components into academic courses or programs at Carleton.
The following faculty members were awarded funding to develop or enhance course or program level initiatives with experiential learning components in February: Profs. Anne Bowker (Psychology), Deborah Conners (Sociology and Anthropology), Melissa Frankel (Philosophy), Julie Garlen (Interdisciplinary Studies), Cheryl Harasymchuk (Psychology), Dominique Marshall (History), Danay Novoa (Psychology), Matthew Sorley (Psychology), Julia Wallace (Physics).
