Registration is now open for the 5th Annual Carleton U Community Connections event – a morning of networking and discussions on community-campus engagement.
Purpose: Making connections between Carleton (students, faculty, academic units and professional staff) and community-based organizations in the non-profit, public and private sector. By creating connections, we strengthen and grow the network that leads to partnership opportunities in Ottawa and beyond. These partnerships are important for advancing research, supporting innovation and community development, and creating valuable experiential learning opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students
Activities: Networking, thematic group workshops, student video awards, discussions on the joys and challenges of respectful community-campus engagement processes
When: March 27, 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: Discovery Centre
Who is invited: Community-based organizations, Carleton students, faculty, academic units, professional staff
Cost: Free! Lunch and refreshments will also be provided.
