April 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM

Location:3101 Canal Building
Cost:Free

The Community Engaged Pedagogy (CEP) Community of Practice (CoP) is a space where instructors from across campus meet to share ideas, approaches, and experiences related to CEP; discuss ways the university can improve the delivery of community-oriented teaching and learning activities; and mentor other instructors interested in incorporating collaborative community-based projects into their courses.

This CoP meets on an ongoing basis (once per term). All instructors are welcome to join these meetings on a regular or ad hoc basis.

Please come to the meeting prepared to contribute to the discussion with, for example:

  • A CEP resource that you have found useful (journal article, blog post, podcast episode, website, webinar, etc.)
  • An interesting concept or framework that can inform CEP.
  • A recent experience that taught you something about CEP (“lessons learned”).
  • A CEP-related question or challenge for the group to discuss.

Note: this is a HyFlex meeting, i.e., you have the option to attend in person or online (via Zoom – the link will be emailed to registrants closer to the day of the event). Be sure to indicate your preference on the form below.
