As part of Teaching and Learning Services’ 30th Anniversary celebrations, please join us for this special presentation by Fulbright Canada Distinguished Chair in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) professor Susan Hrach.
Humans evolved to learn experientially, and by using our bodies and the environment as tools for perception. What does teaching look like when we respect the inextricable role of the body in learning? As Carleton celebrates its new Future Learning Lab and considers opportunities for this space to shape teaching and learning in person and in the virtual environment, this talk will examine how embodied strategies can enhance student engagement and performance.
Space is limited. Please register in advance by filling out the form below.
