Spotlight on Experiential Learning: Innovating with the Innovation Hub!

Explore how faculty/instructors have worked with the new Innovation Hub to promote an inclusive approach to experiential learning and supporting student innovation and entrepreneurship through coaching, cafés, challenges, hackathons, and more.
Panelists include:
- Harry Sharma, Director (Innovation Hub). Leading the design and deployment of Innovation Hub’s programming. Harry will provide an overview of the partnership models that Innovation Hub has deployed to bring more experiential learning opportunities to Carleton students (from all faculties).
- Rick Colbourne, Associate Dean (Sprott School of Business). As the Associate Dean, EDI at Sprott, Rick will provide an overview of the new courses, curricula updates, new initiatives, and research opportunities that have been created to support a more inclusive approach to entrepreneurship and experiential learning opportunities for students.
- Kim Hellemans, Instructor III (Neuroscience)
This session is part of Teaching and Learning Services’ (TLS) Experiential Learning Virtual Showcase, running all week November 8 to 12, 9am-3pm. With over a dozen sessions, the event showcases some of the many amazing ways that Carleton faculty/instructors have brought experiential learning into their classrooms with the support of campus partners.
