In the 2016/17 academic year BGInS will be participating in First Year Connections, which is a peer mentorship program for incoming first year students. Under this program, incoming first year BGInS students are matched with second year BGInS students, all of whom have received peer mentorship training. The program focuses on the first six weeks of the Fall term, the period from Labour Day through Thanksgiving, which is frequently the most challenging period for new students as they make the transition to university life.
