We are pleased to report that Mieke Wilkinson, a 3rd year M&E student has been chosen as the Ontario winner in the 2022 Canadian Engineering Memorial Foundation scholarship competition. The $5000 award comes with the expectation that Mieke will promote the profession to young women in schools, which we know sure she will do very well.
Faculty member, Kevin Goheen, has been involved with CEMF for at least 10 years, and believes that “Mieke is the first Carleton student who has even applied for about 30 years.”
