Overview:

Supervision of engineering laboratory technical support staff
Coordinate and control laboratory operations supporting undergraduate, research, and contract activities
Promote safety within the laboratory environment

Areas of Expertise:

Training undergraduate/graduate students, researchers, and technical support staff
Undergraduate lab development
Design, fabrication, and instrumentation of specialized test equipment
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
Destructive and non-destructive testing of materials and components such as bending, shear, axial, torsional, quasistatic, high strain rate, impact (blunt and ballistic), and fatigue.
Setup and operation of servo-hydraulic universal testing machines (MTS load frames)
Metallography
Welding (MIG, TIG, Stick)
