    Education and Certifications:

    • Mechanical Engineering Technology, Algonquin College
    • Red Cross Emergency First Aid, Naloxone Training, WHMIS
    Overview: 

    • Supervision of engineering laboratory technical support staff
    • Coordinate and control laboratory operations supporting undergraduate, research, and contract activities
    • Promote safety within the laboratory environment
    Areas of Expertise:

    • Training undergraduate/graduate students, researchers, and technical support staff
    • Undergraduate lab development
    • Design, fabrication, and instrumentation of specialized test equipment
    • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
    • Destructive and non-destructive testing of materials and components such as bending, shear, axial, torsional, quasistatic, high strain rate, impact (blunt and ballistic), and fatigue.
    • Setup and operation of servo-hydraulic universal testing machines (MTS load frames)
    • Metallography
    • Welding (MIG, TIG, Stick)
    • General machining
    • Woodworking, general carpentry, and construction
    • Health and Safety
